Needed Files List:

Any application that can open PSD files e.g. Photoshop, GIMP etc. (GIMP is available for free from www.gimp.org) PLUS Michael 4 Base for Poser and DAZ Studio



Installation Instructions:

1. Extract the Zip folder to your Poser folder or DAZ Studio content folder.

2. As an alternative you can extract the Zip folder to a different location and manually copy the folders and files to the correct location as listed below.



Exact folder names and locations:

..\Runtime\textures\TigerAndDragon\
   TigerAndDragon.psd



Application Instructions:


THIS TEXTURE CAN BE USED WITH ANY M4/H4 TEXTURE


1. Open your image manipulation application that can open PSD files.

2. Load the TigerAndDragon.psd file from \Runtime\textures\TigerAndDragon\

3. Load your favorite M4/H4 limbs texture.

4. Make sure that the TigerAndDragon image and your texture are the same size. The TigerAndDragon image is 4000x4000 pixels.

5. If you don't know how to resize an image, check the manual of the application you are using.

6. Copy and Paste your texture into the TigerAndDragon image file, making sure that it is on a new layer.

7. Check your manual if you don't know how to do this.

8. Move the TigerAndDragon images on to the top layers, the two tattoos are on separate layers and can be turned on or off.

9. Check your manual if you don't know how to do this.

10. Decide if you want both tattoos or just one on your texture. Turn the LEFT ARM or RIGHT ARM layers on or off.

11. You can also make any changes you like to the images now e.g. opacity, brightness, color balance, saturation etc.

12. Check your manual for more information on how to do that using your application.

13. When you are happy with the final result save the entire image as a new .jpg texture e.g. NAMEOFYOURTEXTURETigerDragon.jpg and make sure you remember where you saved it.

14. Load Poser or DAZ Studio and load M4.

15. Load the MAT pose that activates the M4 texture you used with the TigerAndDragon.psd e.g. if you used the limbs texture from the DAZ M4 textures then make sure you load the MAT pose to activate those.

16. Now all you need to do is change the Arm, ForeArm and Hand textures to the new texture you created in step 13.

17. If you don't know how to do this check your Poser or DAZ Studio manual.

18. Render however you like.



Tips and Limitations:

With a little tweaking this texture can also be used with V4/A4.
